May 19, 2017: Acceptance of a Request for a Safe Use Determination for Diisononyl Phthalate (DINP) in Interface Glasbac® And Glasbac®Re Modular Carpet Tile and Opportunity for Public Comment
OEHHA has received a request for a Safe Use Determination (SUD) for the use of diisononyl phthalate (DINP) in Interface GlasBac® and GlasBac®RE modular carpet tile, specifically that exposures to DINP in the carpet tile do not present significant cancer risks under Proposition 65, and therefore do not require a warning.  The request is made by Interface, Inc. pursuant to Title 27 of the California Code of Regulations, section 25204(b)(3).

May 19, 2017: Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Amendments to Section 25903(b)(2)(E) and Appendix A, Contents of Notices of Violation
OEHHA proposes amending Section 25903(b)(2)(E) and Appendix A of Title 27 of the California Code of Regulations to clarify the content required in notices of violation served on alleged violators of Proposition 65.

This is the comment period on OEHHA's proposal to amend Section 25903(b)(2)(E) and Appendix A of Title 27 of the California Code of Regulations to clarify the content required in notices of violation served on alleged violators of Proposition 65.


May 19, 2017: Notice of Amendment, Title 27, Repeal of Sections 25607.30 and 25607.31
OEHHA is repealing Sections 25607.30 and 25607.31 related to provisions adopted via emergency regulations for warnings for Bisphenol A exposures from canned and bottled foods and beverages, because these sections were superseded by other regulatory provisions.

Mar 28, 2017: Glyphosate to be Listed under Proposition 65 as Known to the State to Cause Cancer
OEHHA has determined that glyphosate (CAS No. 1071-83-6) will be added to the list of chemicals known to the state to cause cancer for purposes of Proposition 65.


Mar 28, 2017: Notice of Proposed Rulemaking: Amendment to Section 25705, Specific Regulatory Levels Posing No Significant Risk: Glyphosate
Intent to adopt a No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) of 1100 micrograms per day for glyphosate


Mar 3, 2017: Chemical Selected by OEHHA for Consideration for Listing by the Carcinogen Identification Committee and Request for Relevant Information on the Carcinogenic Hazards of Coumarin
Coumarin is selected for consideration for listing by the Carcinogen Identification Committee and OEHHA is requesting for relevant information on the carcinogenic hazards of coumarin.
